The translator is the key to the easy implementation of the ASLB. They are all connected together inside the board. If this is not your local representative, find your local sales rep here. These digital inputs control the microstepping mode. This current-decay control scheme results in reduced audible motor noise, increased step accuracy, and reduced power dissipation.

This needs to be a 0V to 5V or 0V to 3. Internal circuit protection includes thermal shutdown with hysteresis, under-voltage lockout UVLO and crossover-current protection. This one is complicated – please see the datasheet for more information. Connect the negative side of your power supply, as well as from any other boards you are using to drive the Easy Driver to one or more of the GND pins.
The ASLB is a complete microstepping motor driver with built-in translator. The tabs are at ground potential and need no insulation. This normally high input signal will reset the internal translator and disable all output drivers when pulled low.

Special power-up sequencing is not required. This is the power input to the Easy Driver. We default it to slow decay mode, but you can override with your own voltage on this pin. The ASLB includes a fixed off-time current regulator that has the ability to operate in slow, fast, or mixed current-decay modes.

This normally high input signal will minimize power consumption by disabling internal circuitry and the output drivers when pulled low. Each rising edge of this signal will cause one step or microstep to be taken. Connect alleyro to the positive power supply lead.

A3967: Microstepping Driver with Translator
There are no phase-sequence tables, high-frequency control lines, or complex interfaces to program. By simply inputting one pulse on the STEP input the motor will take one step full, half, quarter, or eighth depending on two logic inputs. A allwgro B are the two coils of the motor, and can swap the two wires for a given coil it will just reverse the direction of the motor.
